Every AI action — reading a nutrition label from a photo, generating recipes from your pantry, asking the coach a question — spends credits on the Free tier. Run out, and the tracker keeps working exactly as before; only the AI features wait until your next credit.

Attaching a photo to a meal estimate does not change the price, and the clarifying questions it asks first are free.
Scanning a barcode is free and always will be. The ingredient score on top of it is off by default, and it only costs credits the first time anyone asks for a given product in a given language — after that it is free for everyone who scans it.
